Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and manage High Voltage (EHV) projects across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in managing EPC or turnkey substation projects in line with projects standards.
The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution of projects including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, progress monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring timely delivery in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with stakeholders.
- Plan project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment
- Lead and supervise all phases of substation construction and commissioning
- Manage engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
- Monitor project progress using tools like Primavera/MS Project and issue regular status reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Participate in progress meetings, technical reviews, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and client requirements.
- Manage project budgets and control expenditures.
- Track material costs, subcontractor performance, and variation orders.
- Prepare and submit invoices and payment applications.
- Ensure that all construction activities meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and lessons learned.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 12-15 years of experience in energy projects [HV substation - OHTL]
- Proven track record in managing full project lifecycles
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage
