As a Project Manager specializing in design and built Fit Out projects, involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project, from initiation to completion. The Projects Manager will ensure that project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining project goals, scope and deliverables.
- Developing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Managing all project resources and maintaining budget controls throughout lifecycle.
- Represent company in all project meetings.
- Serve as the main point of contact between project teams and all stakeholders.
- Responsible for entire project management plan including scope, procurement, production, design, communication, cost, time, risk, project human resources, close out etc.
- Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
- Accordingly coordinating with the respective regulatory authorities to inspect and comment on the completed fit-out works for the issuance of necessary authorities certificates.
- Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure high quality results
- Providing regular reports to senior management, stakeholders, and clients on the progress of the project.
- Track project progress against the schedule and budget , evaluate potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them to ensure project meets its objective .
- Raise any variation notice to the head office management.
- Coordinate with the site team and make sure all tasks are properly assigned in well-organized way.
- Review the daily report submitted by the project engineer, Prepare weekly ad monthly reports.
- Observe the skills, attitude, attendance etc. of the workforce and rate them monthly to improve their performance at site.
- Close out and hand over project
- Contributes client satisfaction by attending requests and enquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Accepts flexible work schedules when necessary to provide uninterrupted service clients and stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer, architecture and Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 7-10 years-experience in Project Management within the fit-out industry in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of fit-out and joinery construction processes.
