Job Description

About The Role

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our GeoMarket Projects team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of assigned projects — from contract award through to close-out — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, at the right quality, and to the full satisfaction of our clients. You will be the single point of accountability for your projects and a trusted face of FPI with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Contract and Commercial Management

  • Own the full contract management lifecycle for assigned projects, including contract summaries, review comments, variations, and change orders.
  • Calculate, cost, report, and defend risks and potential claims; negotiate and accept change orders and claims within delegated authority.
  • Quote project variations, amend contracts as required, and maintain an accurate contract baseline throughout the project life.
  • Manage cancellation of backlog and free-of-cost items in accordance with contract terms and official client instructions.

Project Execution and Delivery

  • Lead and manage the successful delivery of projects in line with contract terms, FPI procedures, processes, and work instructions.
  • Maintain and update project schedules; follow up, manage, and report on progress to both internal stakeholders and the client.
  • Issue Release for Production requests with the required documentation and obtain client approval for priced Bills of Quantities.
  • Manage project close-out conditions and complete formal project closure in the ERP system.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary interface between FPI and the client throughout the project — agreeing on reporting content, issuing Client Project Reports, and managing all formal correspondence.
  • Represent FPI in external project meetings; chair internal project meetings, plan agendas, review and validate Minutes of Meetings.
  • Ensure all project correspondence is properly distributed and escalated in line with FPI's Email Distribution and Escalation Policy.
  • Maintain the Client Communication Record File and ensure timely, professional responses to all client queries and concerns.

Risk, Claims, and Quality Management

  • Identify, communicate, and manage project risks, opportunities, claims, NCRs, and lessons learnt throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior project and quality management in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with QC on valid client complaints; drive immediate rectification and contribute to root cause analysis and improvement planning.
  • Participate in QHSE audits, comply with HSE procedures, report unsafe acts and incidents, and use appropriate PPE at all times.

Document and Records Management

  • Identify, set, and communicate project document control requirements including numbering, distribution, MRB, and VDRL control.
  • Ensure all project records are created, maintained, and archived in accordance with FPI procedure.
  • Verify the correct application of document control procedures across the project team and FPI organisation.
