A leading construction company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, and steel structure developments. We are committed to excellence in quality, safety, innovation, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of high-rise building and steel structural projects from inception to handover.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project performance to achieve contractual and company objectives.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee all site activities, including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and steel structural works.
- Manage structural steel fabrication, delivery, erection, alignment, welding, bolting, and inspection activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and cost targets.
- Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, local authority requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE policies.
- Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Identify project risks, technical challenges, and commercial issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Monitor procurement activities, subcontractor performance, material deliveries, and site logistics.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, variations, claims, and resource allocation.
- Ensure successful project close-out, testing and commissioning coordination, snagging, and final handover.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 8–15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role.
- Mandatory experience managing high-rise building projects and steel structural works.
- Previous UAE construction industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, structural steel fabrication and erection, finishing works, and MEP coordination.
- Sound understanding of project planning, cost control, contract administration, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office. Experience with BIM is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of UAE building codes, authority requirements, FIDIC contracts, quality management systems, and HSE regulations.
- Proven leadership, team management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
