Job Description

Job Purpose

Manage and coordinate investment and trade transformation projects across the Authority, ensuring alignment with RTA's investment strategy, compliance with policies, and achievement of business and financial sustainability objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy

Contribute to the preparation and execution of the Authority's investment strategy and transformation system in coordination with relevant departments.

Support in developing and updating policies, procedures, and frameworks governing investment and commercial activities.

Review business and investment plans to ensure diversification of revenues and alignment with strategic objectives.

Conduct market research and sectoral analysis to identify investment trends and support decision-making.

Review and develop investment-related strategies, policies, and KPIs to track performance and ensure alignment with Authority goals. Operations

Manage investment and transformation projects, defining scope, deliverables, and execution plans according to approved schedules.

Form and lead project teams, assign responsibilities, and monitor task completion to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Maintain communication with internal departments, consultants, and partners to ensure effective coordination and timely reporting.

Monitor work progress, assess risks, and report deviations or delays to management with recommended corrective actions.

Ensure project approvals, documentation, and performance data are submitted to management within defined timelines.

Support in preparing tenders, contracts, and project documentation in compliance with internal policies.

Conduct regular project meetings and progress reviews to ensure accountability and team alignment.

Product / Process Improvement

Analyze project performance data and propose process enhancements to improve efficiency and quality of outputs.

Recommend innovative project management tools and techniques to optimize performance and resource allocation.

Evaluate lessons learned from completed projects to improve planning and execution methodologies.

Participate in developing risk mitigation plans and ensure adherence to the Authority's project governance framework.

Physical Working Conditions

Primarily office-based role with periodic visits to project sites, consultant offices, and stakeholder meetings for project monitoring and coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Engineering
  • 6+ years in case of Master's degree(8+ years in case of Bachelor's degree)
  • Certifications including PMP or PRINCE2
