We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee pharmaceutical projects delivered under the EPCM model. The role will manage engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, budget, schedule, quality, and regulatory compliance while serving as the main point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and key deliverables.
Monitor project performance, identify technical or commercial risks, and implement appropriate mitigation and recovery measures.
Coordinate engineering activities and review drawings, specifications, technical documents, and multidisciplinary design deliverables.
Manage procurement activities, including equipment and material sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and long-lead item tracking.
Oversee construction, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Ensure project works comply with GMP requirements, approved specifications, safety standards, local regulations, and applicable international standards.
Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory stakeholders.
Manage scope changes, project variations, technical issues, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project-control personnel.
Prepare regular reports covering project progress, cost, schedule, risks, quality, safety, and key performance indicators.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant project-management experience, including pharmaceutical, life-science, or industrial EPCM projects.
Proven experience delivering complex building, process, or pharmaceutical facility projects.
Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and relevant FDA, EMA, local regulatory, and quality standards.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
Familiar with pharmaceutical facility construction, cleanrooms, process systems, equipment installation, and validation requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in project-planning and management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP, or equivalent systems.
PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project-management certification.
Experience with commissioning, qualification, and validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
Familiarity with cleanroom construction, pharmaceutical process equipment, and regulated facility handover requirements.
