Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality plans and advice to the Head of Section on issues, communications risks and opportunities.
  • Develop plans and strategies to support the reputation of the United Arab Emirates internationally and effectively communicate key messages to international audiences.
  • Manage relations with senior international journalists and editors in the United Arab Emirates and abroad.
  • Lead on strategic projects which impact the United Arab Emirates reputation from strategy development to implementation.
  • Liaise, coordinate and maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop briefings for senior officials ahead of media engagements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Relations, Media, Economics, or a related field.
  • 710+ years of experience in strategic communications, preferably within international institutions, government entities, or agencies serving government clients.
  • Proven experience in advising senior officials, leaders, or executives.
  • Experience in engaging with international media.
  • Strong understanding of the MENA region and United Arab Emirates policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Exceptional English writing skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage extended working hours when required.
