Job Title
Project Manager
Job Scope
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from the post-sales phase to completion through coordinating the needed resources, allocating budgets and measuring performance and deliverables.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead data center build-outs, expansions, migrations, or equipment refresh projects.
- Coordinate construction tasks
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Oversee procurement and vendor/contractor performance.
- Manage site readiness and ensure compliance with SLAs and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk analysis and implement mitigation plans.
- Support audits, capacity planning, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure turnover to operations teams with full documentation and training.
Project Management Skills
- Strong experience with end-to-end project delivery.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and resources.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (facilities, construction, operations).
- Ability to manage multiple parallel data center projects under tight timelines- optional.
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
- Master's degree (optional but preferred for large-scale, global data center programs).
Experience- 1020+ years of project management experience.
- Proven experience managing data center construction, upgrades, or infrastructure deployments.
- Experience with:
- Critical infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, UPS, generators)
- Familiarity with Tier IIV data center design and operational standards.
