About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with 6-10+ years of experience to join our team and oversee the implementation of critical UAE Central Bank payment solutions and cross-border SWIFT payments. Your expertise in managing complex projects, coupled with a deep understanding of UAE Central Bank payment systems, will be instrumental in ensuring successful delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the UAE Central Bank, financial institutions, and technology partners.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success.
- Change Management: Anticipate and manage changes to project scope, timeline, or resources, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance measures to guarantee that project deliverables meet the highest standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support to drive project success.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular project status reports, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate issues or concerns as needed.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- 6-10+ years of proven experience in project management, with a preference for PMP certification.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the following UAE Central Bank payment solutions and cross-border SWIFT payments:
- UAEFTS
- IPI
- NPSS
- WPS
- ICCS
- DDS
- GPSSA
- AAFAQ PAYMENTS SYSTEM (GCCRTGS)
- SWIFT Alliance
- Strong understanding of payment systems, financial messaging standards (ISO 20022), and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in implementing payment solutions within the UAE financial sector.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
