A key Government client in Abu Dhabi has mandated us to support on a key hire for a Project Manager, who will support the Senior Leadership in managing complex projects. We are seeking a UAEN candidate with strong English and Arabic skills due to the scope of the challenge. This is a high visibility, high impact role, where you will get exposure with Senior Leadership across Government.
Overview of responsibilities:
- Responsibilities across Project Planning & Execution, Portfolio & Program Management, Governance, Controls & Risk Management, and Strategic Insights & Executive Partnering
- Driving delivery excellence and enabling strategic decision-making
- Develop, maintain and track integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones, whilst driving project execution, with deliverables completed on time
- Produce clear progress reports, dashboards, and status updates for senior leadership
- Support portfolio prioritization, alignment, and resource allocation across multiple initiatives
- Identify cross-project synergies, risks, bottlenecks, and competing priorities
- Maintain a consolidated view of planned vs actual performance across the portfolio
- Implement and manage project governance frameworks and stage-gate processes
- Provide executive-ready insights, and provide structured decision support through impact assessments, risk summaries, and options analysis
Requirements
- UAEN candidates only, with strong English and Arabic skills. Expats are advised to refrain from applying as they will not be considered.
- A strong Engineering, planning, and execution capability background
- Experience leading and driving project delivery, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives
- Experienced Project Manager with ideally 7-15 years of experience supporting Government, Semi-Government, or Holding companies with complex projects
- PRINCE 2 or other Project Management certifications will be highly desirable, but not mandatory
