ILF Consulting Engineers – UAE invites you to take on this pivotal role, ensuring excellence in project delivery and site operations for an impactful project involving simple cycle power plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- In charge of overall Project Management and Control at Site.
- Responsible for all successful project execution related to EPCM scope of works of the Power Plant project.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the power plant and overall Project Management and coordination with Design review team.
- Act as the focal point for communication between client, Contractors and internal Consultant team.
- Control the project progress by means of monitoring the schedule and raise the concerns on any delay.
- Responsible for all contractual and commercial matters of the Project.
- Advise Employer in all Legal, commercial and contractual matters and assessment of claims.
- Manage complex and interdisciplinary project across several discipline.
- Lead the Consultant workforce team and control their performance.
- Approve key deliverables, decides on any technical and commercial matters.
- Initiates contract changes and claims against contractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from recognized university (Electrical or Mechanical or Power).
- Master's degree in power sector added advantage.
- 20+ years of relevant professional experience in the Gas turbine Power plant and 10 years experience as Project Manager.
- Previous experience in Contracts associated with EPCM Projects in power plant.
- Consultancy experience of at least 10 years within Middle East.
- OSHA certified and or FIDIC experience is added advantage.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
