About the Role

A leading innovation-driven organization in Dubai is seeking a Project Manager to join its ambitious Sandbox Dubai initiative - a regulatory sandbox platform at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence, Health Tech, Green Technology, and Real Estate Technology. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will lead the execution of complex sandbox projects from concept to completion, including regulatory experiments, proof-of-concept pilots, and innovation frameworks. The role blends project management excellence with cross-functional coordination, requiring engagement with government regulators, startups, and global stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about shaping the future of regulation and technology in Dubai, bringing a strong mix of policy knowledge, tech awareness, and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of sandbox programs - from scoping and budgeting to delivery and reporting.
• Regulatory Innovation: Design and execute regulatory experiments and tech validation pilots in AI, Health Tech, GreenTech, and PropTech.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate across legal, policy, strategy, finance, and procurement teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with regulators, startups, government bodies, and international organizations to align on goals and expectations.
• Policy & Governance Compliance: Support policy development, define regulatory exemptions, and ensure compliance with legal frameworks.
• Thought Leadership: Lead workshops, publish whitepapers, and monitor global innovation trends to position Dubai at the forefront of regulatory modernization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years in project management or regulatory innovation, with experience across multiple concurrent projects.
• Sandbox or Innovation Expertise: Proven track record in delivering sandbox programs or emerging technology pilots.
• Domain Knowledge: Background in at least one of the following: Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare, Sustainability, or PropTech.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in tools such as MS Project, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Law, Engineering, Business, Economics, or AI-related fields; Master's degree preferred.
• Certifications: PMP, PMI-Agile, or SCRUM certifications (or familiarity with equivalent frameworks).
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English for effective stakeholder communication and documentation.

Pay range and compensation package:
