Job Description
WSP is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure) to lead the delivery of large-scale, complex masterplan project in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This is a client-facing role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement. It is ideal for candidates with strong multidisciplinary leadership experience managing large-scale infrastructure developments from concept through detailed design and delivery.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure and land development projects in Medina.
- Manage project scope, programme, budgets, and quality to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including highways, utilities, structures, transport planning, and environmental functions.
- Ensure all deliverables meet local authority requirements and international standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic advice and maintaining strong relationships.
- Represent the consultancy in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
- Manage communication with government authorities and key stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
Commercial & Operational Management
- Monitor and control project financial performance, including budget management, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Support bid preparation, technical proposals, and commercial submissions.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, ensuring high performance and delivery excellence.
- Drive effective coordination between disciplines, resolving technical and interface challenges.
- Promote best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement across project teams.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
- Maintain robust project reporting and documentation for internal and client stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 15+ years of overall experience in infrastructure project delivery within engineering consultancy.
- Proven experience working with leading international engineering consultancies.
- Extensive involvement in large-scale infrastructure and land development projects, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
