Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of construction projects.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, manpower, and overall project performance.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones and completion targets are achieved.
  • Review and coordinate construction drawings, method statements, submissions, and technical matters.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure their works are properly coordinated and completed according to programme.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, progress claims, and other commercial matters.
  • Identify and resolve site issues, project risks, and coordination problems in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and other stakeholders on project-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with WSH, environmental, quality, and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct and lead project/site meetings and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Ensure proper project documentation, records, and handover requirements are maintained.
  • Lead the project team towards successful completion and handover of the project.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects from commencement to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, subcontractor management, project scheduling, and cost control.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
  • Strong site management and coordination skills.
  • 8am to 5pm
  • 5.5days
