Project Manager - Trade Finance / Supply Chain Finance
Role Overview
We are looking for a Trade Finance / Supply Chain Finance Project Manager to lead end-to-end transformation within a core banking ecosystem. The role will ensure seamless integration with surrounding platforms while maintaining compliance with regulatory and operational standards in KSA. This position will drive delivery excellence, vendor coordination, and alignment between business and technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead project manager for Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance initiatives, collaborating with business, operations, compliance, and IT teams.
- Lead implementation of Trade Finance and SCF solutions including imports, exports, guarantees, letters of credit, discounting, and SCF platforms.
- Drive integration with core banking systems (Temenos), middleware, and external networks such as SWIFT and SADAD.
- Translate business requirements into system configurations and customization specifications.
- Manage vendor delivery including scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SAMA and IFRS trade finance standards.
- Track delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies while ensuring timely execution.
- Identify delivery risks and coordinate mitigation strategies across stakeholders.
- Support testing, validation, and go-live activities.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in Trade Finance or Supply Chain Finance programs within banking.
- Strong domain expertise in corporate banking and trade finance operations.
- Hands-on experience with Temenos or equivalent core banking platforms.
- Prior experience in GCC/KSA banking environments preferred.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and project management skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical delivery requirements.
