Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager with a strong background in managing mega and high-rise construction projects from inception to completion. The candidate must have hands-on experience starting projects from early stages (including substructure and foundation works) through full construction lifecycle delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from initial stages (excavation, shoring, and foundation/backfilling & substructure works) through to final handover.
- Oversee all phases of construction ensuring quality, cost, and timelines are maintained.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Review and approve technical drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Control project budget and ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper planning, scheduling, and execution using project management tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience managing projects from scratch to completion.
- Strong experience in mega projects and high-rise buildings.
- Hands-on experience in construction phase (not only design or supervision).
- Experience starting projects from substructure/foundation stages is a must.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
- PMP certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and standards.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders in large-scale developments.
