We are seeking a ProjectPlanning Manager is responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring functions across construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contractual and strategic requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Establish baseline programs aligned with project scope and milestones.
- Define work breakdown structures (WBS) and planning methodologies.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Identify delays, risks, and critical path impacts.
- Develop mitigation and recovery strategies for schedule delays.
- Lead schedule updates, progress measurement, and forecasting.
- Manage planning engineers and project controls teams.
- Standardize planning practices across projects.
- Coordinate planning activities with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
- Monitor KPIs and provide management performance insights.
- Conduct delay analysis and support EOT claims and change management.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to align project schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
- 5+ years in a senior/lead planning role on large-scale projects.
- Strong experience with Primavera P6; PMP certification preferred/required.
- PMI-SP certification preferred/required.
- Advanced knowledge of planning, scheduling, construction methodologies, and sequencing.
- Expertise in delay analysis, EOT claims, and project controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, client management, and multitasking skills.
