We are seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to oversee and manage all procurement activities for construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and subcontract packages, optimizing costs, and coordinating with project teams to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Coordinate with engineering, commercial, planning, and project teams to identify procurement requirements and priorities.
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and procurement schedules to ensure accurate purchasing.
- Manage the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and maximize value.
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and project specifications.
- Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and KPI dashboards for senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, promoting continuous improvement and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10–15 years of procurement experience within the construction industry.
- At least 5 years of experience managing procurement activities for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, procurement planning, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, and contract management skills.
- Experience using ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
