Project Site QC Manager (Mechanical)
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Project QC Manager to lead quality control activities for major offshore EPC oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise, strong leadership capability, and a proven record of managing QC teams on complex offshore projects.

YOUR ROLE
As a Project Site QC Manager you will:
- Lead and manage all mechanical QC activities for offshore EPC projects from fabrication through installation and commissioning
- Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), ITPs, and QC procedures
- Oversee multidiscipline mechanical activities including: Piping, static & rotating equipment; Structural fabrication and installation, Welding, NDT, pressure testing, and mechanical completion
- Ensure full compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client standards
- Act as the main QC focal point for clients, consultants, classification societies, and thirdparty inspectors
- Manage and mentor QC engineers and inspectors; ensure manpower competence and coverage
- Review and approve method statements, WPS/PQRs, material certificates, test packs, and final dossiers
- Lead quality audits, NCR management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with offshore safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Support project closeout, handover, and final documentation
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- Minimum 18 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
- At least 5 years in a managerial QC role on EPC offshore projects
- Strong experience with offshore fabrication yards, platforms, jackets, topsides, and hookup activities
Education / Training / Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
- Certificates in CSWIP, NDT, NCAE, BGAS would be an advatage
Skills/Competencies
- Indepth knowledge of international standards and codes: ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, NACE, DNV
- Proven leadership, decisionmaking, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong documentation control and reporting experience
