Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project related Quantity Takeoff are measured accurately at all stages of the project in relation to variations, major material ordering, contra charges etc
  • Ensure Subcontractor's Payments are made in accordance with relevant Subcontract Agreement and Supply Orders
  • To carryout measurements as per the relevant standard method of measurement under the Main Contract where applicable.
  • To prepare relevant summary of the quantity takeoff for major material ordering, Variations, contra charges etc.
  • To ensure measurements are prepared in such a manner that it is easily traceable and ensure the measurements are updated at every stage of the project when required.
  • Prepare Subcontractors payment certificates in accordance with the Subcontract Agreement and compare with the progress certification received under Main Contract
  • Prepare back up calculation and supporting drawings for preparing Variations and finalizing the submission of Variations/Proposal to the Consultant
  • Evaluating the Work progress in preparation of the Monthly Payment application to the Consultant.
  • Evaluating the Variations in relation to the Main Contract and Subcontract as and when required.
  • Draft appropriate correspondences, notifications and entitlements with regards to various contractual matters as required.
  • Prepare and update the Subcontract Payment certificate tracking sheet in accordance with the project requirement.
  • Develop proper documentation procedure to tack and trace all the project related correspondences in relation to the commercial and contractual matters.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Degree qualification in ideally Quantity Surveying.
  • Must have technical knowledge.
  • Must have at least5 yearsof experience inRoadworks and Infrastructure.
