As our Mobility & Railway business continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Project Risk Lead for upcoming projects in Saudi Arabia.

The Project Risk Lead will use both qualitative and quantitative methods to accomplish the tasks. S/he will have an understanding of key engineering and construction concepts and will be able to lead and manage a team of risk management professionals. S/he will interface with numerous other stakeholders and contractors and effectively communicate with the team.

Responsibilities

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Comprehensively identifying Risks that might impact on the achievement of the Program Objectives
  • Accurately assessing the potential impacts of the identified Risks
  • Prioritising the requirements for Risk response identification
  • Formulating appropriate responses to the identified Risks
  • Quantifying adequate cost and time provisions for post-response residual Risk impacts
  • Controlling the implementation of identified Risk responses
  • Monitoring changes in Risk exposure, identifying new Risks and modifying responses

Position Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, business, finance discipline (or related field)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in assigned or related fields.
  • High degree of technical proficiency in implementing risk management strategy, plans and procedures on major construction projects.
  • Ability to effectively identify, analyse and recommend risk mitigation actions
  • Experience of managing others & taking the lead on a project of reasonable size or a number of smaller projects
  • Experience on a complex rail system highly preferred
