Job Description
Role Description This full-time, on-site Project Sales Engineer role is based in New Cairo and focuses on driving project-based sales for architectural and industrial glass solutions. The role involves identifying and qualifying new project opportunities, preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals, and following up with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the sales cycle. The Project Sales Engineer collaborates closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate specifications, timely delivery, and high-quality execution of awarded projects. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, managing project pipelines and forecasts, negotiating contracts within approved terms, and maintaining detailed records in the company's CRM or sales management tools. The role also requires monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement in products, services, and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Project Sales and Sales, with experience managing end-to-end project pipelines and meeting revenue targets.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the capacity to build trust, manage client expectations, and respond effectively to inquiries and issues.
- Experience in Sales Management, including reporting, forecasting, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support project delivery.
- Background in engineering (civil, mechanical, architectural, or related field) and familiarity with construction or building materials, preferably glass or façades.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and basic project tracking tools.
- Ability to work on-site in New Cairo, conduct regular field visits, and manage multiple projects simultaneously under time constraints.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with attention to detail in technical and commercial documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; prior experience in project-based B2B sales is highly desirable.
