Job Description

About the Role

EGIC is looking for a Project Sales Engineer to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project-based sales opportunities, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and providing technical and commercial solutions that meet customer and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new project sales opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, project owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Monitor projects from the early stages through quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, and delivery.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements.
  • Prepare technical and commercial offers in coordination with the relevant internal departments.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and project meetings.
  • Follow up with consultants and contractors to ensure EGIC products are included in project specifications and approved vendor lists.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure customer and project requirements are fulfilled.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and support the closing of project sales opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain an updated project pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with customers and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Project Sales, Technical Sales, or a similar role.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, building materials, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project-based sales and B2B business development.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-oriented with strong commercial awareness.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and project visits when required.
