Role Description The Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for supporting project planning and execution across different business units, including preparing project schedules, tracking milestones, and updating status reports. The Project Coordinator will coordinate communication between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders, arrange meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items. Daily tasks include maintaining project documentation, monitoring budgets and resource allocations, identifying potential delays or risks, and escalating issues to the project manager when needed. The role also involves assisting with procurement requests, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and contributing to process improvements to enhance project delivery and overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and follow-up across multiple projects or stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with office and project tools (e.g., MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, project management or collaboration software).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify issues, assess risks, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in a project coordination, administration, or operations role, preferably within diversified or multi-company environments.
  • Familiarity with basic budgeting, cost tracking, and procurement processes is an advantage.
  • Professional demeanor, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement.
