Role Summary
We are looking for a strong Java resource to lead, mentor and manage the application development and operations team supporting government and digital services solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Java application development and operations teams.
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot and Angular.
- Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Work with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security.
- Design and develop microservices-based applications and API integrations.
- Work with Oracle databases, including SQL, PL/SQL and performance tuning.
- Manage application deployment and configuration using Apache Tomcat.
- Support applications running on Red Hat Linux/Unix environments.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams on application development, integration and operations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
- Lead troubleshooting, performance optimization and production support activities.
