A Project Engineer (Electrical) is an engineer who manages and oversees the electrical aspects of projects from planning to execution. The role blends technical electrical engineering expertise with project management responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical Oversight: Monitor and follow up on all electrical project activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality guidelines.
Project Management: Develop and manage project plans covering scope, deliverables, resources, timelines, and budgets.
Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Technical Support: Provide engineering expertise, resolve technical issues, and guide the project team throughout the lifecycle.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and changes.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Handover Management: Oversee and ensure proper handover of electrical work from contractors.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in project engineering along with electrical experience.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proficient in project management and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of core engineering principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective team collaboration skills.
Skilled in troubleshooting and applying critical thinking to solve complex technical challenges.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
