Position: Estimation Manager

Location: Saudi Arabia – Riyadh

Type: Full-time

Role Purpose:

The Estimation Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end estimation and tendering process for ABYAT's projects (building materials, finishes, furniture & kitchens, doors& windows). The role ensures accurate cost estimation, competitive pricing, and alignment with project requirements, while supporting business growth through effective bid management and value engineering

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end tendering process, from initial RFP review and scope validation (BOQ) to final bid submission.
• Conduct thorough project requirement, drawing, and specification reviews to perform go/no-go analyses in alignment with management objectives.
• Analyze project risks to incorporate appropriate pricing contingencies and identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and breakdown structures covering materials, labor, subcontracting, overheads, and risk.
• Prepare precise project budgets ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are aligned with target margins and profitability goals.
• Monitor market trends, material fluctuations, and labor costs to maintain accurate cost databases and benchmarking tools.
• Act as the central point of collaboration between the Technical, Execution, Supply Chain, and Commercial/Category teams to ensure scope completeness.
• Partner with the Commercial department to secure competitive vendor quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms where required.
• Lead and manage the estimation team, ensuring all departmental timelines and submission deadlines are strictly met.
• Continuously improve estimation tools, templates, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide data-driven insights to support senior management in strategic pricing and commercial decisions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of 8–12+ years of progressive experience specifically in estimation and tendering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering high-value, multi-million SAR projects.
• Extensive experience and a deep understanding of the KSA market (mandatory).
• Proven track record in Fit-out, Interiors, and general construction projects.
• Strong ability to analyze complex drawings, specifications, and project requirements to deliver accurate cost structures.
