Projects General Manager

Job Purpose

• Accountable for the delivery and verification of all projects in Gupco.
• Responsible for the safe and successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Deliver project's activities according to Dragon Oil standards.
• Work actively with Dragon Oil Value Assurance Process to ensure a smooth transition across stages up to transition to Operations
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and reporting to all projects in Gupco.
• Ensure full integration of all functions required to deliver projects.
• Manage relationship with external stakeholders.
• Maintain regular dialogue with Dragon Oil Director Engineering, Projects & Integrity to ensure alignment with Dragon Oil business strategies.
• Accountable for delivery of projects to meet the IM promise on safety, cost, schedule and quality.
• Manage project organizations.
• Ensure necessary permits and approvals are acquired on time for delivery of the projects.
• Ensure verification model is applied through stage gate reviews.
• Monitor monthly Performance Reporting Dashboards against performance targets.
• Manage projects performance in Gupco.
• Implement the information management requirements (cost estimates and project cost reports).
• Provide regular reporting of progress and variances to Dragon Oil.
• Manage risks in conformance with Gupco Risk Management Practice.
• Implement Dragon Oil standards for projects delivery.
• Ensure integration of projects delivery and verification at a project level.
• Implement a rigorous project governance process, from acceptance to handover.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor is Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years experience in a related field.
