Protection Inspector - Electrical

Position: Protection Inspector

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Protection Inspector with strong expertise in high‑voltage protection systems, relay testing, and documentation validation.

- Candidates with Kahramaa experience will be given preference.

Responsibilities

- Witness protection relay testing and verify wiring connections.

-Validate relay settings and related documentation.

-Demonstrate strong knowledge of busbar protection (High Impedance vs Low Impedance).

- Perform busbar stability, transformer stability, overall stability, and load straggling tests.

- Validate CT/VT primary and secondary injection tests and ensure documentation accuracy.

- Record, analyze, and report all test results.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in protection inspection/testing.

- Strong understanding of high‑voltage systems.

- Kahramaa experience is an advantage.

- Ability to interpret protection schemes, drawings, and test reports.
