Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Engineer Network Prototyping to design and develop early product prototypes for advanced networking and communication systems. This role focuses on combining strong programming skills with deep networking knowledge to build proof-of-concept solutions, validate new ideas, and support the development of next-generation secure communication platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop early-stage networking prototypes based on product and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement networking features using C/C++ and Python.
- Experiment with new algorithms, protocols, and system designs to improve performance and functionality.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to validate and refine prototype solutions.
- Build and demonstrate proof-of-concept implementations for internal stakeholders and product teams.
- Analyze system behavior under different network conditions and optimize solutions accordingly.
- Document prototype architectures, findings, and technical improvements.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in networking software development or communication systems engineering.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and QoS.
- Experience developing or enhancing networking features or communication protocols.
- Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, R&D activities, or proof-of-concept development.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to design and improve technical solutions.
