Role Description The Provider Market Strategic Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the West Region, Singapore. This role is responsible for managing strategic relationships with key provider organizations, driving growth, and ensuring alignment with Optum's solutions and services. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing account plans, identifying new business opportunities, leading contract negotiations, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver value-based solutions. The Strategic Account Executive will analyze market trends and provider needs, prepare and present business proposals, and provide ongoing account oversight to ensure high satisfaction and retention. Collaboration with clinical, operations, product, and finance partners is essential to support revenue goals and long-term partnerships in the provider market.
Qualifications
- Strong strategic account management and relationship-building skills, with experience managing complex provider or healthcare client portfolios.
- Proficiency in sales planning, pipeline management, and contract negotiation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
- Solid knowledge of the healthcare market, provider operations, and value-based care or managed care models in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Advanced communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence executive-level decision makers.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience using data, financial models, and market insights to inform account strategies.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, operations, clinical, and finance teams to deliver integrated solutions to providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Several years of experience in healthcare, health technology, consulting, or insurance, preferably in strategic accounts or provider relations roles.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages are beneficial for engaging diverse stakeholders.
