Psychiatrist

Role Description The Psychiatrist is a full-time, or part-time on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans for clients. The psychiatrist will provide ongoing outpatient care, including medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary wellness practitioners, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and participating in case conferences and care planning.

The psychiatrist will also contribute to community education, support preventive mental health initiatives, and help refine SEED's holistic care protocols to align with best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Psychiatry, with demonstrated competence in evidence-based psychiatric practice.
• Experience in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health treatment across diverse populations.
• Current medical license (or eligibility for licensing) to practice psychiatry in Qatar, with board certification or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Commitment to holistic, patient-centered care and sensitivity to cultural, religious, and individual differences.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Prior experience in wellness, integrative medicine, or multidisciplinary clinic settings is beneficial.
