Job Title: Senior Psychologist & Psychotherapist (EMDR Specialist)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Senior Psychologist/Psychotherapist to join our clinical team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of trauma-informed care and a proven track record in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

You will manage a diverse caseload, providing evidence-based interventions to clients dealing with complex PTSD, anxiety, and various trauma-related disorders. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to clinical excellence through specialized treatment planning and peer consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and risk screenings.

• Specialized Therapy: Deliver high-quality individual psychotherapy, primarily utilizing EMDR protocols alongside other modalities (CBT, DBT, or ACT) as clinically indicated.

• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans for clients with complex trauma histories.

• Crisis Management: Provide immediate intervention and stabilization for clients in acute psychological distress.

• Documentation: Maintain meticulous clinical records, including intake reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care and provide expert insights on trauma-focused cases.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Master's or Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.

• Licensure: Full, unrestricted state license to practice as a Psychologist or Psychotherapist.

• Clinical Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

• EMDR Expertise: * Completion of an EMDRIA-approved foundational training.

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience applying EMDR in clinical practice.

• EMDR Certification (or Eligibility for Certification) is highly preferred.

• Clinical Sophistication: Ability to adapt EMDR protocols for complex cases, including dissociative disorders.

• Professional Integrity: Strict adherence to APA (or relevant) ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality.

• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
