The Job
We are seeking a high-performing and results-focused PR Account Director to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This pivotal role focuses on expertly managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients while driving significant new business development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in crafting and executing strategic narratives for our clients, particularly within the hospitality, F&B, and lifestyle sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management & Growth: Lead the strategy and execution of PR and Communications for key clients, ensuring the delivery of outstanding commercial results.
- Business Development (BD): Actively drive and lead the new business pipeline, leveraging a strong local network and proven BD strategies to secure new clients.
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive PR strategies and creative campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Media Relations: Oversee media outreach, including the drafting and distribution of press releases and ensuring your clients receive the earned media coverage they deserve.
- Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of curiosity and professional growth.
- Influencer Marketing: Oversee strategic influencer reviews and campaigns for clients.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an Account Director (or equivalent senior) role within a PR or Communications agency in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
- Sector Expertise: Proven experience working with prominent lifestyle and hospitality brands is essential.
- New Business: A strong, proven track record in new business development and meeting aggressive growth targets.
- Local Network: A robust network of relevant media, industry contacts, and potential clients in the UAE.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
