Job Description

The Public relations Executive oversees the company's media communications by drafting press releases, organizing PR events, and maintaining good relationships with clients and stakeholders.

He/she should also have a solution-based aptitude and the ability to handle any media-related crisis in a calm and timely manner.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Contribute to media strategy and plan development.

- Support day-to-day account management execution of the strategic PR plan.

- Compile and constantly update a document of media profiles, editorial calendars.

- Research support for plans and proposals.

- Media and influencers planning and execution.

- Develop media & influencer lists, media and influencer recommendations, identifying the right media and creating media lists.

- Manage and update WIP weekly report.

- Maintain and update a comprehensive media and influencer database.

- Support brainstorming and proposing creative ideas.

- Build and maintain an up to date archive of relevant assets.

- Maintain updated press office and media press kits.

- Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch media interviews.

- General Administrative support.

- Drafting and dissemination of press releases and media follow ups.

- Cultivating strong relationships with media outlets and journalists to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage.

- Support with planning and execution of press launches, press conferences, roundtables and media and public events, onsite support and event logistics.

- Support with media inquiries.

- Activity report, analyzing the outcome to ensure effectiveness of public relations campaigns and reporting the findings to management.

- Maintaining an up-to-date press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media.

- Media and social media monitoring and reporting.

PR Coordinator Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a relevant field.

- At least 1 year of experience working in the public relations industry.

- A portfolio of successful client work.

- Excellent knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies.

- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel and members of the media.

- Superb written skills and knowledge of press release style guides.

- Solid organizational skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
