Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and creative PR Manager to lead and execute our public relations initiatives, strengthen brand reputation, and drive positive media coverage. The PR Manager will be responsible for developing communication strategies, managing media relationships, overseeing external communications, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.

The ideal candidate is an excellent storyteller with strong media connections, exceptional communication skills, and experience managing corporate communications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communications strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a positive public image for the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage to inform PR initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, statements, and press kits.
  • Secure media coverage across print, digital, broadcast, and social platforms.
  • Coordinate media interviews, speaking engagements, and press events.
  • Develop key messaging and communication materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Support executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and thought leadership articles.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all communications.
  • Manage communication during crises and sensitive situations.
  • Develop crisis communication plans and response protocols.
  • Monitor media sentiment and proactively address reputational risks.
  • Create compelling content including press releases, articles, newsletters, and corporate announcements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Social Media teams to align campaigns and messaging.
  • Support content creation for company websites, blogs, and executive profiles.
  • Plan and execute press conferences, media briefings, product launches, and corporate events.
  • Manage sponsorships, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Track and analyze PR campaign performance and media coverage.
  • Measure PR effectiveness using KPIs such as media reach, share of voice, sentiment, and engagement.
  • Prepare regular reports and recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
  • Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful PR campaigns.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of media landscape and digital communications.
  • Experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
  • Experience working in a corporate, technology, consumer, or agency environment.
  • Established network of media contacts.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring and PR measurement tools.
  • Experience supporting executive communications and thought leadership programs.
