The Public Relations Manager for Yas Theme Parks & Attractions will support the Head of Public Relations in developing and executing PR strategies for Yas Island theme parks and attractions. This role requires strong media relations expertise, hands-on operational support, and cross-functional coordination to ensure consistent brand messaging and impactful coverage across local and international markets.
Strategic & Planning Support
- Support the Head of PR in executing PR strategies and campaign amplifications for the Yas Theme Parks & Attractions.
- Contribute to messaging development, press materials, and PR plans.
- Assist in crisis communication planning and execution when required.
Media Relations & Hosting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
- Organize and host media visits, FAM trips and filming opportunities.
- Provide on-ground support during shoots, events, and launches to ensure smooth execution.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with internal divisions including Brand Marketing, Media Performance, Operations, Procurement, Legal, HSE, Events, and Commercial teams.
- Coordinate closely with external PR agencies to ensure deliverables are met.
- Ensure alignment on messaging, timelines, and approvals across stakeholders and IPs.
Content & Communication
- Proofread press releases, talking points, Q&As, briefing documents, and reports.
- Support PR announcements, new launches, seasonal campaigns, and milestone communications.
- Monitor and report on media coverage and PR performance metrics.
Permits, Agreements & Administration
- Manage filming permits, media agreements, NDAs, and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Track budgets, awards, invoices, agency scopes, and PR calendars.
- Maintain organized records of media lists, coverage, and reports.
Events & Activations
- Support all PR aspects of events, launches, and activations.
- Coordinate media attendance and oversee guest management.
- Ensure brand representation and storytelling is consistent on-site.
Education and Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of PR experience, preferably within entertainment, hospitality, tourism, or theme parks.
- Strong media network in key source markets is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
