Public Relations Officer (PRO)
Job Purpose
To manage and oversee all government-related transactions for the Group of Companies, including the real estate company, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The PRO is responsible for visas, residency permits, labor and immigration processes, company licensing, and coordination with government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all visa and residency procedures for employees (employment visas, residence visas, renewals, cancellations, and status changes).
- Manage work permits and labor-related transactions with MOHRE.
- Process Emirates ID applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Register and manage citizen employment (Tawteen/Emiratization platforms) and related government portals.
- Coordinate employee entry permits and family visas when required.
- Ensure timely renewal of company trade licenses, commercial registrations, and related approvals.
- Liaise with government departments such as MOHRE, Immigration, GDRFA, Free Zones, Economic Departments, and Municipalities.
- Maintain accurate records for all government-related documents and employee files.
- Monitor changes in labor, immigration, and corporate regulations and advise management accordingly.
- Support HR and Administration departments with all PRO-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, immigration law, and company policies.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or relevant diploma is preferred.
- PRO certification or relevant government relations training is an advantage.
Required Experience
- Minimum 58 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE.
- Strong hands-on experience with visa processing, residency, labor contracts, and licensing.
- Experience working with group companies and real estate firms is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of UAE labor law and immigration procedures.
