About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage government relations, immigration, labour and licensing requirements across multiple entities within the Group.
The role requires strong experience working across different UAE jurisdictions, particularly Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and dealing with relevant government authorities, mainland and free zone requirements.
The successful candidate will also support selected private and personal affairs of the CEO and family, requiring a high level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end visa, immigration, labour, Emirates ID and residency processes for employees across multiple Group entities.
- Liaise with relevant UAE government authorities and manage applications, approvals, renewals and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage trade licence, establishment card, permits and other statutory renewals, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
- Handle government portals and online systems relating to immigration, labour, licensing and other regulatory matters.
- Manage PRO requirements across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other UAE jurisdictions, including mainland and free zone entities.
- Maintain accurate trackers for visas, licences, permits and other statutory documentation, proactively monitoring expiry dates.
- Keep HR and Management updated on changes to relevant government regulations and requirements.
- Provide confidential PRO and administrative support for selected private affairs of the CEO and family, including visas, residency, government documentation and other authorised personal matters.
- Maintain accurate records of all PRO-related expenses and payments, including visa, labour, immigration, licence renewal and government fees, and ensure these are regularly reconciled in coordination with the Finance team.
- Liaise with banks, government offices and other external organisations for submission and collection of documents.
- Undertake other PRO and administrative responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 8–10 years of relevant PRO/Government Relations experience in the UAE.
- Proven experience managing PRO requirements for multiple companies/legal entities.
- Strong experience working across Dubai and Abu Dhabi jurisdictions; exposure to other Emirates and free zones is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of UAE immigration, labour, residency and licensing procedures and government portals.
- Experience supporting senior executives/business owners with private or family-related PRO matters is highly preferred.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- UAE driving licence preferred.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines and urgent requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in expense tracking, documentation and reconciliation.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity and professional discretion.
