Join the House of AMOUAGE
We are seeking a Publisher Associate Manager to safeguard the integrity of Amouage's voice. This editorial role ensures that all content reflects the brand's cultural authority, restraint, and clarity. Distinct from promotional functions, the role focuses on precision, rhythm, and meaning, shaping every word to communicate with sophistication and consistency.
Your Mission
Responsible for shaping, editing, coordinating and releasing all written and published content across Amouage's owned channels, ensuring consistency of tone, cultural depth, and editorial excellence. Acting as the direct link between Creative, Communications and Markets, the role translates creative concepts, press materials, and community narratives into publish-ready assets that respect the House's High Perfumery DNA.
Your Impact
Editorial & Publishing Leadership
- Own the end-to-end publishing process across all Amouage owned channels, from copy preparation to final release.
- Edit, shape, and finalize copy originating from multiple sources, including:
- in-house writing
- press releases
- creative concepts
- community narratives
- event briefs and recaps
- Ensure all published content is accurate, intentional, and culturally aligned before release.
- Act as a final editorial checkpoint prior to publishing, in alignment with the Senior Community & Publishing Manager.
Tone of Voice & Editorial Standards
- Develop, maintain and evolve Amouage's tone of voice guidelines as a living editorial framework.
- Translate brand positioning and creative direction into clear editorial principles, examples, and do's & don'ts.
- Ensure consistent application of tone across platforms, formats, and regions, without flattening nuance.
- Protect the House's language from over-marketing, dilution, or trend-led distortion.
Publishing Across Channels
- The role oversees publishing for:
- Social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Amouage owned platforms (including Wadi Dawkah, Amouage Caf, etc.)
- Event-related copy (invitations, run-of-show text, captions, recaps)
- Internal newsletters and global team communications
- Community-facing editorial formats
- The role feeds into CRM communications but does not own CRM strategy.
Press & Content Translation
- Translate press releases and official communications into:
- community-facing copy
- social captions
- internal storytelling
- Ensure press language is adapted with editorial intelligence, not copied verbatim.
- Maintain coherence between earned media narratives and owned publishing outputs.
Asset Coordination & Release Management
- Coordinate closely with Creative Studio to ensure written content and visual assets are aligned and publish-ready.
- Push back when assets or copy are not ready for release (timing, clarity, or coherence).
- Own the master publishing calendar, ensuring:
- clarity of timing
- alignment with community and event priorities
- responsiveness to real-time opportunities
- Ensure smooth and timely release of assets across channels.
On-Site Publishing & Live Editorial Coverage
- Travel to key locations where content is being captured, including but not limited to:
- press events
- boutique openings
- in-market activations
- community gatherings and cultural moments
- Act as the editorial lead on the ground, ensuring that:
- copy, captions, and written assets are shaped in real time
- content released live or shortly after events is accurate, contextual, and on-tone
- publishing decisions reflect the House's cultural positioning rather than immediacy alone
- Work closely with Creative, Community, and Events teams on-site to:
- identify the right storytelling angles
- decide what should be published immediately versus held for later editorial use
- adapt messaging based on context, audience, and moment
- Ensure that live publishing maintains the same level of editorial discipline, restraint, and clarity as planned content.
Markets & Distributor Enablement
- Publish centrally for global channels.
- Develop publishing guidelines and playbooks for markets and distributors, enabling adaptation while protecting tone.
- Review and advise on market copy when required, ensuring alignment without over-control.
Collaboration & Ways of Working
- Act as a close partner to:
- Creative teams (visual direction editorial translation)
- Community & Events teams (storytelling publishing)
- PR and Brand teams (narratives owned channels)
- Work with speed and flexibility while maintaining editorial discipline.
- Contribute to a culture of clarity, respect, and shared standards.
