Job Title – Purchase Manager - FMCG

Type – Contract

Work Location: Sharjah / Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase FMCG products from reliable suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
• Negotiate competitive prices, discounts, payment terms, promotions, and other commercial terms.
• Monitor market prices, competitor pricing, and market trends to ensure competitive wholesale pricing.
• Manage product availability and stock levels to minimize overstocking and stock-outs.
• Identify fast-moving and high-demand products based on customer requirements and market trends.
• Work closely with the Sales and Warehouse teams to plan purchasing requirements and product availability.
• Monitor product margins and purchasing costs to support overall profitability.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on pricing, product quality, availability, and delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records within the ERP system.
• Prepare regular purchasing reports covering suppliers, purchases, stock levels, pricing, savings, and other procurement-related data.
• Use Excel for purchasing analysis, reporting, price comparisons, and tracking. •
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of products based on business requirements..

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG purchasing/procurement.
• Strong experience in sourcing FMCG products from manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of FMCG market trends, pricing, margins, and product movement.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and other internal teams.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence – Mandatory.
