We are seeking an experienced Purchase Officer to manage our procurement activities in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end procurement processes. The candidate should also be familiar with the local market context of the Gulf region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement processes align with organizational goals
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulations, and best practices

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Gulf region
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
