We are currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our Operations Department as part of our continued operational development.
The role is responsible for ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effective sourcing, and uninterrupted supply of goods and services to support daily operations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchase order processing.
• Research and identify reliable suppliers that meet required standards for quality, pricing, and delivery.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts and service agreements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to process Supply Requisition Forms (SRFs) based on operational requirements.
• Liaise with Accounts for Local Purchase Order (LPO) preparation and supplier payments.
• Coordinate with store and operations teams for inventory updates and delivery handling.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support long-term collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in hospitality or retail).
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor evaluation, and documentation.
• Proven negotiation, coordination, and supplier management skills.
