Job Description

Products:

Pressure: Pressure Gauges, Differential Pressure Gauges,Pressure/DP Switches, Diaphragm Seals, Gauge Accessories

Temperature: Temperature Gauges, RTDs & Thermocouples, Thermowells

Level: Level Gauges, Level Switches, Level Transmitters

Flow: Flowmeters, Flow Switches

Responsibilities:

  • To perform vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency.
  • To maintain cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities.
  • To coordinate as appropriate quality matters and engineering changes/developments between company activities and suppliers.
  • To review purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts.
  • To utilize quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management
  • To manage purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase inventories.
  • To coordinate with warehouse team to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
  • To conduct ongoing market research to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential vendors.
  • Ensuring that all purchased materials, equipment, and services comply with relevant regulatory standards and certifications specific to explosive atmospheres, such as ATEX
  • Maintaining accurate records of supplier evaluations, inspection reports, quality agreements, and other relevant documentation related to purchased materials and components.

Requirements:

  • Min. 2-3 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role.
  • Must have experience with Instrumentation Products
  • Masters degree in business administration or relevant or Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical).
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
  • In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory and supply management system.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
