Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities, including local purchasing, international imports, and service-related procurement. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Saudi market, supplier management, and import regulations, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives
- Manage local and international suppliers, including negotiation of prices, terms, and contracts
- Handle import purchasing, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs clearance, and compliance with KSA regulations
- Oversee procurement of services, materials, equipment, and consumables
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with finance, operations, and warehouse teams for demand planning and inventory control
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi procurement laws
- Lead and mentor purchasing/procurement staff (if applicable)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in KSA
- Strong experience in import procurement and local Saudi market purchasing
- Knowledge of Saudi customs, import regulations, and documentation
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)
