About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer with strong experience in procurement, inventory management, supplier coordination, and cross-functional operations within fast-paced trading environments. Skilled in managing end-to-end purchasing activities including purchase order processing, supplier negotiations, delivery coordination, inventory optimization, and maintaining accurate procurement records through ERP systems. Experienced in monitoring supplier performance, resolving delivery issues, coordinating project-based purchasing requirements, and supporting new product development initiatives, sample ordering and item code generation. Adept at generating purchase analysis and supplier performance reports using advanced Microsoft Excel tools while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures. Industry exposure in sanitaryware, building materials, ceramics, or related sectors is highly valued.
About You
A highly organized and analytical professional with 3–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience and a strong understanding of supply chain and inventory operations. Possesses excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Logistics, Sales, Warehouse, Marketing, Specifications, and Accounts departments. Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Strong English communication skills are essential, and a UAE driving license is considered an advantage.
