Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Specialist located in El Sherouk. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement processes, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing market trends, and collaborating closely with various departments to meet their needs. Additionally, the role involves reducing costs while maintaining quality and compliance with university policies and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and market research
  • Strong skills in inventory management, cost analysis, and budgeting
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with institutional policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office and procurement tools
  • Experience in sustainable purchasing practices is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
