Job Description

Your activities

  • Lead the sourcing activities for various spend categories such as office supplies, production raw material supplies and also service providers to meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
  • Create regular reports for internal/external declarations.
  • Work closely with all relevant departments to ensure the best cost effective and productive option of each purchase requests within the agreed timescale
  • Ensuring that activities are carried out according to agreed department KPIs and procedures and recorded in required business systems (constantly and comprehensively)
  • Work closely with key stakeholders in member organizations and in corporate functions to implement effective cost reduction strategies
  • Ensure contracting with third-party suppliers in line with business requirements as well as WIKA company values and policies
  • Manage supplier relationships in the most efficient way and in line with the strategy
  • Follow up on market trends, competition strategy and innovations in the assigned categories ensuring the best effective and productive option for WIKA
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and local market rules and regulations
  • Track inventory and restock goods on time when needed
  • Lead projects in an efficient way and within the defined budget and timing
  • Our subsidiary is located in Saudi Arabia Eastern Province (2nd Industrial City Dammam)

Your profile

  • BS Degree from reputable universities
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Saudi Arabia as purchaser
  • Proven track record of sourcing SS & Inconel Flanges / Pipes & Bars is plus
  • Excellent communication skills and having high level of local market vendor network
  • Advanced level of English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work in international teams demonstrating cultural sensitivity and social competence
  • High level of organizational skills to manage both vendor & internal customer relations
  • Knowing the list of approved suppliers in Aramco in Saudi, Europe, India & China is plus
  • Analytical thinking to compare options effectively and good level of negotiation skills to manage vendor relations
  • Having experience in multinational companies is plus
