Location: Qatar
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Qualification: Three-year Diploma in Electrical or equivalent
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring optimal plant performance and compliance with OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Operations & Maintenance of PV systems including modules, trackers, inverters, and MV stations.
- Monitor, maintain, and restore generating stations (inverters) promptly using correct troubleshooting methods as per OEM guidelines.
- Execute Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with approved schematics and Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs).
- Maintain knowledge of solar inverter systems, relay & control protection panels, and solar tracking systems.
- Operate and maintain HV/MV substations and switching systems, preferably with experience on 1500V DC systems.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of PV plant operations and electrical systems.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with OEM recommendations and safety standards.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and respond quickly to operational issues.
