Job Description

A leading company specialized in Trading & Import of Chemicals is looking for a PVC Technical Support Engineer to join our team.

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for providing technical support and expertise in PVC chemistry and applications, helping our customers and internal team solve technical challenges and optimize PVC formulations and processing.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support to customers regarding PVC raw materials, formulations, additives, and applications.

- Understand customers technical requirements and recommend suitable PVC grades and chemical solutions.

- Troubleshoot technical problems related to PVC processing, formulation, and product performance.

- Support customers in optimizing formulations and improving product quality and processing efficiency.

- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding technical specifications, product performance, and technical issues.

- Review and analyze Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), COA, and product specifications.

- Conduct technical discussions with customers and suppliers and prepare clear technical recommendations.

- Follow up on technical trials and customer feedback.

- Keep updated on developments in PVC technology, additives, stabilizers, plasticizers, processing aids, and related chemicals.

- Provide technical input to the Sales team to support customer development and new business opportunities.

- Prepare technical reports and presentations when required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.

- Practical knowledge of PVC chemistry and/or PVC processing.

- Experience with PVC formulations, additives, or PVC applications is highly preferred.

- Good understanding of technical specifications and chemical products.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good command of English, especially technical communication.

- Good communication and customer-support skills.

- Willingness to travel to customers or production sites when required.

Location: Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
